What a few months it’s been for Dublin based producer Kaily. With releases on the likes of Lapsus Music and Beatdown Music (Sonny Fodera’s moniker) in recent months the budding talent has been steadily building his underground reputation with the help of a few ear catching releases. Just last month Kaily also released the long awaited No Love which found a home at renowned underground label Deeptown Music and also received a remix from the legendary Terrence Parker.
His latest effort alongside Englishman and renowned producer Blandy, is another step up the ladder for the Irish talent. Up In Smoke a tidy collaboration between the pair is being prepped for a release on later this month via Maison Rouge. The record is driving house track which effortlessly combines energetic percussion and a hypnotic bassline for maximum effect. Sitting carefully amongst the driving instrumental are some well placed Afro-Caribbean vocal snippets which give the track it’s distinctive quality.
All in all another sizeable production for someone we’re tipping to have a big year!
