Hot creations have long been one of the driving forces in the distribution and exposure of some of the finest house music on offer right now. So I was only delighted when I saw that a release for the famous wAFF was in the pipeline. The “Fat Gash EP“, which apparently is named after a close friend of his, is due out in all good record stores on the 6th of April. This is the follow up to his “Freeks EP” which was released just before Christmas last year on Cocoon Recordings.
The young producer who is still only in his early 20’s and who hails proudly from Leeds already boasts an impressive back catalogue and now has this to add to it. His latest offering is a dance floor filler for certain and should feature out a lot over the coming summer months.
Right from the off on the opening track “Fat Gash” a midrange kick and hi-hats move you along at an ideal tempo and gets you moving. This is maintained throughout with a vocal hook which fades in and out asking the DJ to “make me move”. If this track is anything to go by then we are in for the something special with the rest of this EP
