Ahead of the release of his long awaited ‘Submerge’ EP on Josh Wink’s Ovum Recordings this Friday, former Ostgut Ton and Cocoon producer André Galluzzi pays respect to the undeniably brilliant back catalogue at the imprint. The Berlin-based producer digs through the vault to pick out his five most adored releases from the past.
André Galluzzi’s Five Ovum Recordings Essentials:
1. Josh Wink/ Superfreak original
This has a very catching groove and crazy voices. Real monster on the dancefloor!
2. King Britt presents Sylk 130 when the sun hits the fan (mood to swing mix)
One of my favorite, deep house records of the 90’.
3. David Avarado/ Polygons
A very timeless tune. Hypnotic bongos and nice strings. Big one!
4. Harry Romero/ Aquarium ep
Harry’s record is one of the newest pieces. A fabulous, organic techno track, the trumpet at the break marks the sunset.
5. DJ Dozia/ Pop culture original
Another record, back in the days, an anthem, I remember very well. This tune still get you in a seconds to dancefloor. Really like the remixes also!
