BBC Radio 1 maestro Danny Howard’s label ‘Nothing Else Matters’ releases the latest edition of the Fire Beats series this month, featuring four stellar cuts from a selection of both up and coming and more established acts chosen by Danny himself and label co-founder Nigel Harding. Stepping up on the EP are Rhythm Masters, MANT, The Golden Boy and Tuff London. Well, you’re in for a treat today as we showcase the bang tidy ‘Get Down’, supplied by Tuff London. The Toolroom pair have turned in a sleek four-to-the-floor groover with a spicey bass-line and an ensemble of lush hi-hats.
Speaking with When We Dip, Howard talked through the release, explaining ‘Fire Beats represents exactly what every track featured in this E.P is….absolute fire! Nothing but underground club weapons that have a certain energy that DJs look for in a track when wanting to make any crowd go for it! I’ve been road testing this bunch all summer so I’m proud to finally release them into the open and hear them tear up dance floors all around the world.’
