After the success of last year’s Noisily festival, we go again.
Arguably the coolest festival we checked out in the past 18 months. It’s bespoke, underground and tailored to give a niche audience their most memorable experience of the year. Every aspect of the festival is considered, down to the finest of detail. From the surroundings in Coney woods just outside Leicester, to the art installations, chill out areas, food stalls, stages and last but not least, the line-up.
Noisily curate a fine line up. A mixture of techno, from the melodic to the slightly heavier, down through progressive styles and psytrance. The festival caters for the demands of many, but in a close knit, small capacity festival. The community spirit is strong at this one and no doubt we’re in for more of the same this year.
Last remaining tickets HERE!
This year the line up is BIG! We’ll be focusing on the Noisily Stage. With melodies and techno the driving force, this is the one for us. Over 3 days some big names will grace this stage and we’re going to give you our top tips.
Gabriel Ananda
Gabriel is one of the best performers in the game. He loves a good live set and boy are they good. While he will be DJ’ing to close the festival on Sunday evening, we expect this to be no different. He’s been honing his craft for years and been at the top of the game for over a decade. His whopper original ‘Doppelwhipper’ recently got a release on Truesoul. Not to be missed!
Dominik Eulberg
Dominik takes to the Noisily stage immediately prior to Gabriel. We fell in love with him and his style of music when he played the Boiler Room back in 2013. Emotive, melodic and enchanting. Perfect for Noisily. Plus, him and Gabriel have been known to play b2b on occasion…who knows 🙂
Chapter 24 Records
If you’re new to WWD or you’ve been living under a rock the 2 years, you’ll know we’re big fans of the Chapter 24 crew. Their label stays true to their word and tells stories through music. Each release is on point and expect them to showcase the best of their label and more when they open proceedings on Sunday. Did someone say rollover!?
Michael Mayer
What do we need to say about Michael Mayer? The co-owner of Kompakt, one of the biggest labels in dance music. And that’s before we even begin to talk about their work distributing records all around the world for an enormous pool of other thankful labels. With that in mind you’d wonder how he finds the time to produce, remix and tour. Fear not, he’ll take things to another level at peak time Friday. 11pm on the Noisily stage. Be there.
Aidan Doherty
If ever there was a man who encapsulated the community spirit that can be felt at Noisily, it’s Aidan Doherty. Founder of London based Warm Up, Aidan has built a real community of followers. With progressive, emotive music, Aidan can bring a crowd together like no other. We caught him at last years festival and we’ll be sure to check him out again this year.
You can also catch When We Dip DJs representin’ early friday from 2-4pm before the Warm Up crew takeover.
See you on the dancefloor!
