Eagles & Butterflies – The Butterfly Effect Remixes

Francoys
Electronic, Tech House
23 May 2014

You never know what sort of tasty treats are going to drop into the promo box on a given day but its always a pleasant surprise when you get something of real quality. That is exactly what happened this morning although we probably shouldn’t have been surprised given our past experiences with Ibiza based producer Eagles & Butterflies. From stellar releases on the likes of Manual Music and John Digweed’s Bedrock to his first album via Spread Your Wings, the Englishman has been consistently pushing himself to create fresh new music for his burgeoning fanbase.

This most recent delivery was something slightly different. A remix package for his album which features a star studded cast including John Tejada, Cascandy, Ron Flatter, Tone of Arc and the upcoming Slow Hearts. The budding producer has chosen his labelmates well with a number of them delivering standout tracks including Mr Tejada whose rework of Chakras Groove is sure to turn heads. As is the Tone of Arc remix for the lead track The Butterfly Effect. They inject considerable energy into their effort, churning out a subtle groover of a remix.

Honourable mention must also go to Slow Hearts a relatively unknown German duo who spark memories of certain Innervisions material with their barnstorming remix of The Journey (which incidentally happens to be one of our favourites in the original album!)

You can pick up the remixes exclusively via Beatport this Monday May 26th.
