Kollektive Turmstrasse – Sorry I’m Late EP

German duo, Christian Hilscher & Nicho Plagemann, better known as Kollektive Turmstrasse are joining forces yet again to release a new EP on Diynamic, “Sorry I’m Late”. There has been a lot of excitement surrounding this release. All over the internet people are searching high up and low down for any information that they can get their hands on. Tracks from the Ep have been getting airtime all over the world. Particularly when Solomun played “sorry I’m late”, in his Boiler Room set. Along with countless others who have been lighting up dance floors around the world in preparation for its release.

The standout track on this record for me is the title track, “Sorry I’m late”. Which has a sharp Hip-Hop type of vocal sample which sharply cuts in and out along with a driving base line. Further assistance from some trombone notes will have you wanting to dance immediately if not sooner.

“Last Call” is a more relaxed track. With all the ingredients of a house track it retains this laid back feeling but is still bass heavy enough to do some serious damage on dance floors come its release. “Hour after hour” is the most heavy hitting bass heavy track on the EP. With a very stripped back and minimal feel it’s not the normal melodic stuff we are used to seeing from the duo. But make no mistake about it, this low down dark track is a powerful little number.

The full EP is coming to a record store near you SOON!

Track list:

Sorry I’m late

Last Call

Hour after hour
