Basel’s Night Talk returns after the impressive ‘Dark Matter EP’ with a scintillating new cut. The reinterpretation of Prince Of Denmark’s ‘The Ghost Ran Out Of Memory’ is the first solo release from Lukas Horst as Night Talk – Remo Studeras is no longer a part of the duo. This is a slowly-building groover, which blends a tightly-knit drum ensemble with a dark concoction of future-driven synth sounds and an eery atmosphere. Having previously featured on Solomun’s illustrious Diynamic Music, the reputation very much proceeds the act and the quality of the latest production ensures that the rise will only continue. Talking to Lukas, he’s explained the process behind the new track, saying “I just did this reinterpretation for fun as I am a huge fan of the original and played it a lot in my sets. Now I think it’s time to give it away for other people to enjoy it…”
