Next Saturday 5th March in District, Liverpool renowned promoters Rubix, follow up a killer 2015 with the likes of Keinemusik with the return of Stacey Pullen. He’ll be showcasing his Blackflag label with rising star Youcef Eliad in tow on Saturday 5th March.
We’re big fans of his Blackflag label and supported Bardia F’s ‘Obvious Problems’ release late last year.
If you think Bardia F’s release sets a standard, Youcef Eliad certainly meets this. Those tech grooves will be rolling all night long.
The headliner here needs no introduction really. By chance, Stacey Pullen was one of the DJs who brought us from our youthful love of the electronic sound, deeper into the more underground goods back a few years ago. It was in fact the set recorded below at ADE. While we may have been introduced late, his prior and continued role in the promotion of Detroit techno cannot be denied.
Since then he’s gone on to continue cementing his place at the top of the tech house scene and only last summer we caught him warming things at Cafe Del Mar, Ibiza before one of his sets at Marco Carola’s Music On. He does not disappoint.
Further support on the night from residents Chris McGee & Lee Charnock.
