Lane 8 delivers Remix of Strobe ahead of his ‘This Never Happened’ Tour

American house producer and Anjunadeep standout Lane 8 has submitted a remix for deadmau5′ ubiquitous ‘Strobe’. The only remix from a house producer on the remix package (off of deadmau5’s Mau5trap imprint), Lane 8’s version does a fantastic job translating the original into a 4×4, slow burning bit of house music. Undoubtedly recognizable as “Strobe’, it’s a fine bit of remixing that is as original on its own as it is a tribute to the original work.

Lane 8 is in the midst of an North American tour, showing off his brand new, quite unique touring concept called ‘This Never Happened’. The premise of the tour is that no cell phones – and therefore social media – are allowed. An interesting concept indeed, as everyone can agree that a club full of nob heads on their cell phones taking snapchats for 3 hours isn’t all that great of a vibe. You can check out if he’s coming near you here.
