[Re-Blog – HUSA SOUNDS]
Let’s give it up for Montreal, the only place on the face of the Earth that holds festivals welcoming thousands of brave people of every nationality ready to take on the extreme temperatures plunging below 40 degrees Celsius. How do they all do it, you ask? A real combination of musical bliss, flowing drinks, entertaining winter sports (gigantic slide made of ice, sumo wrestling, hockey, many more!) and amazing energy all around. If you have experienced the Piknic Electronik events that run throughout the hot summer, you can imagine what this team of amazing organizers has in store for Igloofest this winter. It’s safe to say they’re bringing the heat. Now, the blizzard might grace us but when the time comes we will be ready to take it on head first with no other than the famous Igloofest “tuques”, circled by a warm herd of friends and strangers just as crazy and brave as you and I.
Heading into its 11th edition, the festival takes place from January 12 to February 4. Igloofest organizers did not leave any room for disappointment when they graced us with the likes of Chris Liebing, Carl Cox, Dave Clark, Joris Voorn, Anja Schneider, MK, Josh Wink, Steve Bug, Mind Against, Claptone, Eats Everything, Catz n Dogz just to name a few. We also would like to take the opportunity to congratulate the hard-working and dedicated locals who made it on the lineup. Cheers to Head Nodders, Zepha, Atroxx, Mike Larry, Kris Tin, Seychelle, J’vlyn Dark, V.Ro & many more who made it on the bill.
