The 22nd edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) will be taking place October 18th-22nd introducing a new, exciting venue and a recently developed ticketing system. Since its debut in 1996, ADE has progressed into being the most significant platform of the global electronic music scene. After 16 years in the Felix Meritis, ADE, an initiative of Burma, will be moving its center stage to the Nieuwe DeLaMar Theatre for this year’s event. Other stages will be in the Tolhuistuin, Brakke Grond and Melkweg venues. The change of the center stage venue will allow major renovations to take place in its old location. The new venue was chosen due to its ideal location which is situated next to the Leidseplein and De Melkweg. This new spot will also allow the event to bring previously separately-housed events such as ADE dance & Brands under the same roof. Changing venue locations will ultimately allow new networking and conferencing possibilities to new and old delegates coming from a wide range of countries.
ADE’s new ticketing system has been introduced for this year’s event. The system allows delegates to choose between day and night time activities with a 5-day Daytime-only pass which is now available. The old classic 5 days/nights passes are also still available to delegates who wish to embrace the large range of entertainment and business opportunities at the event.
