Montrealers will finally be able to discover Piknic Électronik’s new site this Sunday May 21st and Monday May 22nd, during the traditional double opening Piknic which signals the start of summer and which will launch the 15th season of this festive weekly get together.

Entirely reconceived and now installed at Île Sainte-Hélène’s Plaine des jeux, Piknic’s new site uses its natural resources to propose new activities and put the “picnic” back into the heart of the event. The musical line-up powering these two days of celebration will be a perfect match for this important milestone in Piknic’s history and for the opening get-together, which is always highly anticipated by Piknickers.

Located right by the metro in between the original Piknic site and Jacques Cartier bridge, of which it provides a stunning view, Piknic’s new site invites people to truly take advantage of nature and discover a new way to enjoy these famous musical Sundays, which have become a “can’t miss” part of Montreal summers

To launch its 15th season, Piknic decided to put the spotlight on Montreal, with a nearly 100% local line-up, made of up of world class stars. The highly anticipated Sunday May 21st get-together will feature Sychelle, Claire, Maus B2B MightyKat and Israel’s Red Axes. May 22nd hosts Tiga B2B Jacques Greene with opener Ledisko.
