A progressive techno pleasure. That’s the only way we see fit to describe the latest offering from Amsterdam pair Deltawerk, better known as Pascal Terstappen (Applescal) and Hessel Stuut (Polynation). The duo are just about ready to unleash their debut album unto the world (it drops June 16th) and in the past few days we’ve seen several delightful morsels making their way onto the interweb. The album will be presented as an exciting 4 part Vinyl LP and the extended format certainly gives their lengthy productions room to breathe.

With a track record of inch perfect releases on the likes of Ghostly international and Traum, Applescal has had no shortage of plaudits on his solo track, while collaborator Hessel Stuut is a member of the renowned Polynation. The album is an underground diamond, harmonising the best of progressive with dynamic percussion and delicious atmosphere. Our track of choice is the dark and twisted Heart, a pulsating affair, purpose built for the dancefloor. WWD approved!

Passages is out Friday June 16th on Atomnation
