Croatian Techno festival Moondance returns this August with KINK, Rødhåd, Radio Slave & more

In search of an amazing festival experience this summer with a supreme techno edge? Look no further… Moondance is the festival of techno-lovers dreams. Returning to Trogir, Croatia from August 9-11 the event brings together the best of classic and contemporary techno. Once again it finds its home in the striking medieval Kamerlengo Fortress in Trogir, which was recently voted one of the world’s most beautiful island cities by National Geographic.

The three day bonanza will play host to revered artists from Detroit, Berlin, UK and beyond, with a musical selection the varies from deep, dark hypnotic grooves to raw heavyweight power. Th engrossing combination of music and its magical setting has seen Moondance evolve from a night with 400 people to three nights with 9000 guests, in just five years. This year’s event will be the largest-ever, yet still maintain its intimate vibe. What’s more, the location is a mere 5KM from Split airport making logistics ultra-simple.

Every detail of the event is carefully crafted, from the superb sound system to the visuals and video installations from international artists. Moreover, it has a relaxed, democratic atmosphere unique among electronic festivals. Ticket prices are kept low to ensure Moondance is accessible to all music-lovers. There is a strictly no VIP police and the staff is renowned for its helpfulness and hospitality.

This year’s line-up features an sublime ensemble of underground techno’s finest. Confirmed so far are KiNK (live), Francesco Tristano (live) and Eduardo de la Calle. As well as those representing legendary Berlin club Tresor – K-HAND, Jonas Kopp, The Analogue Cops (live) and Handmade, and incoming from the renowned electronic label and agency Dystopian – Rødhåd, Radio Slave and Monoloc. More artists are to be announced soon.
