Mexico City based Male-Female duo CASUAL SX is comprised by N·A aka Nina Alanis & Alex Galvan. For CASUAL SX making music is about giving. Together they add up a remarkable career playing at festivals and clubs from Mexico to Argentina like: The BPM Festival, Crew Love MX, Dinsmoor, Rioma, La Santanera, Mamita’s and Sobremonte just to mention a few.

Now, CASUAL SX has a go at the timeless classic Besame Mucho and updates it for the 21st-century dancefloors, infusing it with a sexy latin-house swing and a snaking, funky trumpet line played by Alex Guardiola, a well-respected and versatile Cuban musician also based in Mexico City. Groovy and equipped with a fat bass line, this version of ‘Besame Mucho’ by CASUAL SX is a fresh take on the classic, highlighting its unmistakable melody over a bottom-heavy, sticky beat, and keeping a sense of 20th-century nostalgia in the form of one of its best-loved songs.

‘Besame Mucho’ was released on February 15th by Mexican label XDM Records, founded by Guadalajara DJ, producer and live act Broz Rdz, continuing on the label’s search for mixing the traditional with the cutting edge.
