At the command of the 26th Family NAME release we find Coeus, one of the finest current producers of the current boiling Balkan scene. In two tracks the Belgrade based artist delivers his recipe to take a dancefloor in charge.

On ‘Opus’, he builds a perfect duality between organic rhythms and a typically electronic tension. After a one minute wise break and a simple and straightforward drop it’s clear that yes, ‘Opus’ is a gift for Djs. Also articulated around a hypnotic and percussive groove, ‘For you’ reveals the same obvious efficiency. Then the electric synths, progressively emerging, call a bit more darkness and bring us at the edge of techno. Warm and serious music here !

On the remix side Santiago Garcia – who hit early 2019 with his gem on Innervisions Secret Weapons 11 – drops his interpretation of Opus. Pushing towards the melodic side, his remix his no less nervous, helped by accurate and rolling rhythm elements. He shapes here a personal and captivating piece of modern deep house.
