BLANCAh’s direction shift materialised in new RENAISSANCE Release

There has been quite a lot of rumouring in the scene lately about a new direction shift by highly-skilled artist Patricia Laus, worldwide known as BLANCAh. But only now can we witness the materialisation of it and it’s wrapped-up beautifully in the form of a new release on traditional imprint RENAISSANCE.

The release sure, not only marks the new phase of BLANCAh’s ever growing career but also establishes what may become a new family of artists on RENAISSANCE.

The track which we now premiere exclusively is in its form, yet another paradigm shift to BLANCAh as an artist where she managed to deliver something more functional and dance floor oriented than usual but also conserve her unique identity. So here it is the full premiere of “Cold Lights”.

The word ‘journey’ seems to always fit her work so well and it’s not different in this case. Right from the first minute you find yourself cruising an ocean of mystery as you dive deep into a pleasant state of temporary trance. Her haunting vocals will welcome you into this ambience that is completely hers, the world of BLANCAh, a ringing place filled with hypnotic loops and keys where an atmosphere of suspense is conjured right before you, and you only notice when you’re completely immersed in it. Goosebumps.

The crowd of Fusion Festival in Lärz, Germany, was presented to the song last month and it worked really well, demonstrating the versatility of this production as it works really well both on the dance-floor and your headphones. We now leave you with her entire set, recorded on Fusion Festival to give a little more taste of BLANCAh’s music.

With such an amazing artistic work presented so far it’s difficult to pick a best phase of her production, but it’s safe to say she now moves into a new level which promises to big the biggest so far.
