When Joe Cowie aka Kahwe made his Anjunadeep debut in 2013 his music was championed by the likes of Kerri Chandler, Laurent Garnier, Larry Heard and Mr. G, and described by RA as “smouldering sunset house”. Following a break from music, the Manchester based DJ and Producer returns with his anticipated four-track ‘Manana EP’.

Opening the EP is title-track ‘Manana’, leading with jazz-influenced melodies and a driving low-end. ‘The Rebel’ features breakbeat drums whilst ‘All Day’ demonstrates Kahwe’s genre-fluid productions. Closing track ‘This World’ incorporates the kind of soulful sunset music that caused such a stir back when Kahwe made his debut.
