The 8th release of NEED features two original tracks of the Parisian duo II Faces. The title track’Deep in You’ is a tasteful driving track with strange evolving fx, swung snares, and heavy-hitting drums. Inspired by the 90’s house sound, ‘Deep In You’ stands out by keeping it stripped back and focus on what works. Andrew Azara jumps on the remix for a summery take on the original, with a filtered piano, the signature Azara arp sound, and smart use of the originals vocal. On the B side, we have ‘Go Ahead’. Slapping drums and a playful vocal and chord shot pattern rounds up this strong release.
