UMEK welcomes Teenage Mutants back to his label 1605 for a stomping two-track techno EP Teenage Mutants are a German duo that have released numerous tracks on 1605 over the last couple of years, and this is their much anticipated second solo EP for the record label.

Well-known for their captivating synth lines and thundering percussion, Teenage Mutants have trademarked a peak time style of techno, which is an exciting roller-coaster full of dance floor intensity.

In addition to 1605, Teenage Mutants have also featured tracks and remixes on other influential record labels such as Filth On Acid, Terminal M, Tronic and Suara.

‘Back for Rave’ opens the release with its pulsating bassline and menacing synth stabs augmented and shrouded in dark atmospherics. Building towards the euphoria of the breakdown, the track lifts up a gear when the percussion slams back in.

‘No Control’ lifts the tempo with its pounding kick drum and thrashing high-end percussion that lays the foundation for a compelling vocal about freeing your body, mind and soul. Its rolling groove and stripped back aesthetic has a dystopian style with just a hint of acid.
