Dance music titan Patrick Topping unveils new single ‘Shake My Booty’, out 1st July on TRICK and Ministry of Sound.
Making a return to house music after his short exploratory period to techno, ‘Shake My Booty’ centres around vibrant vocals and the kind of driving, chunky bassline that Patrick has become known for in recent years, ‘Shake My Booty’ is an infectious dancefloor weapon that revels in its simplicity.
His first single release of the year, it coincides with the opening party for his new TRICK residency at fabled Ibiza nightspot DC-10. Also featuring the likes of Tiga, Eats Everything and Ewan McVicar, the party is the first of countless TRICK parties to take place in the White Isle across the summer.
As one of the breakout artists of his generation, Patrick Topping has provided a constant flow of positivity to the culture he loves so dearly, becoming one of the scene’s most popular DJs in the process. His hard work and talent has led to performances at many of the world’s most influential clubs, from fabric London, Warung Brazil and Space Miami, to festivals including Coachella, Glastonbury, Awakenings, Ultra and Tomorrowland.
Topping launched TRICK in 2019, as a platform to exhibit his versatility as a producer, as well as a platform to showcase the wealth of emerging talent which he has been pushing in his DJ sets. It has since become one of the most revered dance imprints in the game, releasing era-defining records from Ewan McVicar, DJ Deeon and of course Topping himself.
‘Shake My Booty’ is the latest in a long line of Patrick Topping bangers destined to turn clubs and festivals upside down.
