One of the main stars of any Amnesia party is always the sound system. It is renowned throughout the scene as being right at the cutting edge of audio technology and it delivers every single kick drum and hi-hat as intended meaning that DJs always bring their a-game.
This most essential of annual parties will be lit up by a trio of exclusive back-to-backs. First up, Seth Troxler and Skream face off on the celebrated Terraza for a spine-tingling sunrise set that will see a cross-sectionof house and techno. Also on the Terraza, last year’s standout season regular Marco Faraone brings his powerful sounds for a back-to-back with Special Request, the famously bass heavy, jungle-inspired, raved-up alias of Paul Woolford.
The Terraza line-up is completed by astral techno explorer and Ellum Audio boss Maceo Plex, the emotive and melodic sounds of Guy Gerber plus flagship residents Mar-T and Caal with Namibia-born Gina Jeanz who is a breakout star and leading light in the African scene.
The Main Room meanwhile will bounce to a techno showcase from Amnesia regular and Drumcode head Adam Beyer next to new school tastemaker Layton Giordani. Palestine’s fierce Sama’ Abdulhadi brings her powerful take on techno and Filth On Acid’s master of harder rave sounds Reinier Zonneveld also lines up for a live set with renowned resident Luca Donzelli and the trusty Ibiza mainstay Anna Tur.
