Today, Swiss electronic duo Adriatique announce their new label imprint X Recordings with their inaugural release ‘The Future Is Unknown’ featuring Delhia de France, out now.

The first offering from X Recordings, ‘The Future Is Unknown’ is an enticing introduction into the mysterious sounds curated by Adriatique. A magnetizing conflux of ominous, twisting melodies and dark, plunging basslines, ‘The Future Is Unknown’ echoes the riveting soundscapes fans can expect to find within the duo’s new label imprint. X Recordings will serve as an extension of their live event brand and home for their hypnotic electronic creations.

Quickly taking over the world of melodic house and techno, Adriatique present X is an immersive journey through futuristic, avant-garde visuals and otherworldly sounds. Since debuting in Zürich in December 2022, Adriatique have brought their larger-than-life concert experience to iconic venues around the globe like New York’s Brooklyn Mirage, London’s Labyrinth, Ibiza’s Pacha, and Amsterdam’s Gashouder. Adriatique will close out 2023 with three X shows, which includes new editions in Dubai and Tulum.

“X is a multifaceted and versatile symbol, also seen as an intersection where paths cross. We feel X is an illustration of reflection and duality; both play major roles in our careers. As a platform, X welcomes influences and inspiration from all the people and artists involved. X serves as a catalyst for contemporary music and art, celebrating the luminaries of the past while embracing technological advancements and futuristic visions.” – Adriatique

Comprised of Zürich creatives Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, Adriatique have distinguished themselves with their forward-thinking sound and pioneering artistry. For over a decade, Adriatique have garnered a reputation with their mesmerizing releases on Afterlife, Rose Avenue, and Diynamic, and remixes of Swedish House Mafia and Elderbook. In 2016, Adriatique launched their first record label, Siamese, and in 2018, they released their debut album Nude. This year, Adriatique soared to new heights with their collaborative singles ‘Miracle’ with WhoMadeWho, which also received an official remix from RÜFÜS DU SOL, and ‘With You’ with Gordo.
