Bedouin’s lauded debut album ‘Temple Of Dreams’ has soared to remarkable heights, buoyed by collaborations with a constellation of gifted musicians. Since its release, the award-winning duo, renowned for their deep and organic interpretation of house music, has masterfully orchestrated a mesmerizing series of remixes. Already graced by luminaries like Anja Schneider, Catz’ N Dogz, and Harry Romero, the remix series reaches its zenith with Nandu and Santiago Garcia at the helm for the final instalment.
Leading the final instalment is Danish talent Nandu, whose deep, rhythmically grounded sonics are eloquently infused with organic melodies. A familiar name on prestigious labels like Afterlife and Watergate, Nandu’s take on ‘Love and Hate’ emerges as a tender late-night cut. Delicate pads shimmer atop pulsating beats and meditative grooves while a captivating spoken word vocal washes over the dazzling production.
Closing out the remarkable package is Argentinian powerhouse Santiago Garcia, whose work routinely finds its way into the collections of influential tastemakers like Black Coffee, Âme and Solomun. Garcia’s reinterpretation of ‘Aliens’ charts a path through a darker, more enigmatic ambience. The remix is a study in minimalistic intensity, with bare, throbbing kicks underpinning ominous vocals. The track is further intensified by its disquieting pads and intricate percussive elements, creating a hauntingly energetic soundscape.
You can now listen to the full premiere of Nandu’s remix exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
