Weekend Heroes started their way as a collaboration project between 2 electronic scene veterans Felix Nagorsky aka Timelock and Eli Baltsan aka DJ Zombi. They met first in 2009 with the goal in mind to create music that would be different but at the same time speak easily to wild audiences, a perfectly balanced blend of Progressive House & Melodic Techno.
Since the beginning of 2010 Weekend Heroes started touring the world frequently with their dynamic and pumping Live Act. They played quite often to crowds of up to 10’000 clubbers at amazing stages as the Ministry of Sound (London), Pacha (Sao Paulo), New City Gas (Montreal), The Block (Tel Aviv), and summer festival around the globe.

WWD: Hello guys, welcome to When We Dip. How are you?
Haloo, we are fine and hope you are too !
WWD: You recently released two tracks in collaboration with Argy on his new album on Afterlife. Could you tell us how this collaboration was born? What were your inspirations behind it?
Yes, on March 15 Argy’s album “New World” been released and its include two collaboration tracks we done together…
There is ‘No One’s Coming’ which started from the vocal idea, something we got from a singer and immediately knew is a right lyrics to work with. We ping pong’ed this sketch between studios until it was perfect. Then we and Argy tested it on road and then we worked on it again and gain, until it was ready for release.
The other track ‘Talk To Me’ is a darker and more underground tune which we been working on for a year I think, also countless versions after playing at events, again and again…
Basically, we think we share with Argy same love to sound design and audio esthetics and that’s how is all been made.
WWD: How does it feel to have signed with such an important label like Afterlife and to have collaborated with one of the hottest artists like Argy?
