Krafted celebrates a decade at the vanguard of electronic music with a timely reminder of why it’s held in such high regard, announcing a compilation featuring 10 brand new tracks.

The UK based label group is owned by Paul Sawyer and Simon Sinfield, who have established Krafted as a leading independent music label, home to a suite of specialist record labels, an extensive catalogue of releases and an incredible roster of artists, DJs and producers. Krafted continues to release multiple genres of music across its labels, as well as hosting worldwide shows and digital media events.

With four labels across the brand, the original imprint Krafted Underground celebrated 300 releases in August 2022 with an eleven track album. Now, to celebrate a decade in the game, a new compilation Krafted X presents 10 brand new
cuts from a selection of label mainstays and new blood.

This meticulously curated selection showcases the prowess of electronic titans like Robert Babicz and Wally Lopez alongside talented newcomers like Ella Jae, with each track a testament to the label’s enduring legacy in the electronic music scene. Expect a journey through deep grooves, innovative rhythms, and mesmerizing melodies that have defined Krafted’s contribution to electronic music over the last decade.

“We wanted to include some of our favourite artists from the Krafted family and also bring producers on board who we have wanted on the label for some time. It was extremely difficult to whittle it down to the number we have included with so many releases across the labels and so many amazing producers that we have signed over the years. We’ve ended up with a really great balance across the 10 tracks in the end. We could have easily released 10 albums from the initial list we made!” says Paul Sawyer.

Krafted’s founder Paul Sawyer has been a force of innovation and passion for over three decades. Starting his journey in 1992, Sawyer quickly made a name for himself with electrifying sets at iconic venues like The Manor, House of Windsor, and Madisons in Bournemouth. In 2023 Paul released his ’30 Years A DJ’ album, a thirty-track journey through the sounds he’s explored and refined. This collection not only showcased his evolution as an artist but also celebrated the relationships and memories forged over a vibrant career. Paul has contributed significantly to the electronic music scene by promoting emerging talents and organising events that have become legendary. His residency alongside Carl Cox at super-club Eden Ibiza in 1994 and the launch of the notorious Menage A Trois boat parties are just a few milestones that underline his impact on the scene.

Simon Sinfield has been a professional music producer, DJ and radio presenter for more than thirty years. Composing and producing across multiple-genres, his catalogue of work is extensive, and includes film scores, indie rock and of course electronic dance music. For more than a decade Simon hosted a key dance music radio show on the award winning Fire Radio, featuring weekly interviews with a who’s who of the dance music world. It was here that the Krafted guys met, when Paul was a guest on Simon’s show. The two immediately began collaborating on projects and eventually teamed up to develop Krafted into one of the most respected independent record labels in the industry.
