For many DJs there comes a time when the call to become a producer becomes irresistible. When the pandemic hit, that pull to the recording studio became insatiable for the artist known as DEARI. With all venues being closed down, his creative outlet abruptly ceased to exist and it was the world of sound production which became his all-consuming passion.
Hailing from Southport which is close to Liverpool’s metropolis, he started in the Indie scene before making the move to the world of House Music and all its sub genres. Classically trained as a guitarist, it was at the Leeds Festival where he found the inspiration to follow a dream and become a professional DJ. That dream has now become a reality as all his dedication and hard work is beginning to pay off.
From the bedroom to local parties, bars and beyond, House Music was an itch he could not scratch. Taking his lead from artists such as Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers, Jonas Blue D.O.D, Sonny Fodera, Low Steppa, Josh Butler and Joel Corry, he has a deep affection for vocal driven House. That hands in the air moment so aptly associated with labels such as Defected and Toolroom has always been a part of his fluid and dynamic sets. Now that same spirit can be found in his first three tracks that have been signed to imprint Perfect Havoc.
He delves deep into the nuances of production, choosing to bring his own interpretation of what makes a good groove together with a kaleidoscope of infectious rhythms, vocal and bass. Building to a crescendo of emotions, the bounce in his music is more than just a touch addictive.
