After the success of D-Nox and DJ Zombi’s ‘There is Hope,’ Sprout proudly reveals two new remixes from scene heavyweights, Mike Griego and Kamilo Sanclemente.

Maintaining its top 15 place on Beatport for more than two weeks, the original version was an instant hit. Adding their unique flavours label regular, Kamilo Sanclemente and freshman Mike Griego, breathe new life into the label’s second best seller to date.

Both artists need little introduction: Kamilo has carved out a solid career as one of Columbias best exports with music signed to Balance Music, Sudbeat and Mango Alley to name but three, equally, Mike’s output has cemented his name with quality. A diverse artist, his music can be found as far afield as Tale & Tone, Global Underground and Crossfontier Audio.

Griego’s ‘Psychfunk’ mix comes first, and as expected its a frenetic workout that keeps its soul while being wanky and wild. Building the groove over the first half, the break adds little respite as the analogue synths wind up for the drop. Solid machine funk for the main room. Kamilo’s reimagination is classic Sanclemente. Smooth and vibey from the start, the melodic ebb and flow swells up to tell a wondrous, deep tale of melancholy. Audio hope of the highest order.

You can now listen to the full premiere of Kamilo Sanclemente’s ‘There is Hope’ remix, exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
