The BPM Festival: Costa Rica 2025 expands its transformative edition with a monumental phase two lineup announcement, adding an impressive array of underground talent to its new jungle paradise. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Playa Avellana, Costa Rica from January 8-12th, 2025, the festival welcomes over 50 additional artists to join its already stellar roster. Phase two introduces German melodic techno virtuoso Innellea, Brazilian tech-house sensation Classmatic, the Miami-based Space Club mainstay Malóne, French minimal masters Shonky and Traumer, and many more alongside previously announced heavyweights Adriatique, Âme (DJ), ARTBAT, CAMELPHAT, Francesca Lombardo, HUGEL, Jan Blomqvist (Live), RY X (DJ), and more. Headlining the phase two revelations are some of underground electronic music’s most compelling voices. Innellea’s distinctive melodic techno promises to create unforgettable moments under the Costa Rican stars, rising U.S. selectors ChaseWest, Ky William, and Malóne are set to showcase their fresh perspectives on house music, while dynamic Brazilian talent Classmatic will deliver his signature blend of upbeat, groove-drenched sounds. The lineup expands further with noteworthy additions including Arodes, Manda Moor, Mira, and an impressive roster of South American talent including Maria Wabe, DH Moon, Richard Salazar, and Tony Guerra.
The festival’s commitment to spotlighting needle-moving labels and collectives continues with BPM’s finely curated showcase programming. Known for its Afro-House roots, Deep Root brings a worldly rhythm with founder Francis Mercier, drawing influence from diverse global beats to craft sets that pulsate with energy and creativity. Making its Costa Rican debut, Pendulum—led by UK house icon Steve Lawler—promises BPM attendees a night of deep, driving house, continuing Lawler’s legacy of pushing underground beats to their limits. Riding the momentum of his biggest year yet, HUGEL will bring the Latin House flavor of his Make The Girls Dance imprint, solidifying his place as a BPM mainstay. Terrazzza, a powerhouse in the Swiss electronic scene, brings their expertise and stellar reputation for curating world-class tech-house lineups to the Costa Rican jungle. Zero Community immerses fans in melodic and deep journeys, celebrating both local and international underground talent. Ozmozis, hailing from Toronto, round out the offerings with deep, atmospheric sounds that resonate with introspective moods. Additional showcases include Bacatá, Empire Records, Gospel, Odys, Our Craft, Overtones, Scenarios, Slave to the Rhythm, and Soundtuary.
With the phase two lineup now revealed, attendees can expect over 90 artists delivering nearly 120 hours of music across five days and nights, spread between two nighttime jungle stages in Playa Avellana and daytime beach parties at Tabu, Ocho Beach Club, and Chiquita’s in Tamarindo.
