‘Sonic Infusion’ is the debut collaboration between Belgian producer Mike aka Push and Brazil’s WEHBBA. The release marks a first for each of them on Eli Brown’s acclaimed Arcane and is set for release on November 15th.
Between the two established artists, Push and Wehbba have amassed a plenitude of significant releases over the years across a broad-church of electronic dance styles.
After etching his name into dance music’s chronicles with trance anthem ‘Universal Nation’ in 1998, which he played at ‘20 Years Of Tomorrowland Our Story’ during this year’s ADE at Ziggo Dome, Push remains a sought-after artist and remixer. It’s a testament to his understanding of his craft after 25 years in the business.
WEHBBA stands as a leading force in the techno scene with a hectic touring schedule and releases on most major techno labels, as well as amassing a long list of high profile remixes and collaborations over a 20 year career. The Brazilian producer is renowned for his ability to draw inspiration from the spiritual and physical realms and encapsulate this energy within his music.
With 40 years of combined production experience, Push and WEHBBA have delivered a modern-day classic in the form of ‘Sonic Infusion.’ The opening cut, ‘Sonic Infusion’ is a deliciously rapturous number searing into being by way of galloping kicks, pulsing rhythmic patterns and an unrelenting cosmic vigor to make for a gloriously majestic debut collab.
On the reverse, title track ‘Hologram’ doubles down on the celestial power and heaving low-end bass whilst employing a heady mix of thunderous drums and swirling synth making for an emotive rich cinematic-like symphony to close.
To celebrate this milestone release, WEHBBA takes over our Main Mix delivering some tenacious techno, exciting IDs, and his signature highest-octane energy. Enjoy!
