Imagination is the one thing no one can take away from Brian Cid. It does not matter if he produces Melodic Techno, Organic, Deep Tech, or Progressive House; Brian makes sure it sounds profound. Genres are not an obstacle for this dance scholar.

Brian Cid (born in NY, raised in Dominican Republic, based in Berlin) is a producer, sound engineer & DJ with a level of musical talent that has taken the underground electronic music scene by storm. His original productions have found homes on a number of the most credible and taste making record labels, with a style that knows no boundaries whatsoever. This catalogue of innovative, genre-defying tracks has given Brian the opportunity to grace the decks at some of the best clubs, parties, & events across the globe.

After a successful decade long production career in the Hip Hop and Pop scene, running a recording studio in New York City as head mixing & mastering engineer as well as producer to some of the world’s biggest stars as Lady Gaga, Cher, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, Mos Def, Sean Kingston, Wiz Khalifa and more, Brian Cid decided to tap into the electronic music world as a solo artist, composer and producer, and later on as a DJ.

To this date, Brian has performed in 39 countries and over 65 cities in all 5 continents around the world headlining shows at world renown venues as Heart in Ibiza, The Bow in Buenos Aires, Supermarket in Zürich, Hardpop in México, Coda in Toronto, Stereo in Montréal, Kater Blau in Berlin, Gazgolder in Moscow, The Other Side in Amsterdam, Café Del Mar in Sydney and some of the biggest festivals in the world including Fusion Festival (Turmbühne Stage) in Germany, Okeechobee Festival & Burning Man in the Nevada desert.

Always looking to explore and evolve, the next chapter in the musical journey of Brian Cid is the continuous development of his project Endangered: a deep journey to the eclectic side of electronic music. The Endangered concept is both a record label, a multi-sensory event series and a lifestyle that focuses on sound, live art, consciousness and the local community. With Endangered coming to life, a calendar full of releases, and an ongoing global tour, the best is yet to come for Brian.

For the 180th episode of the Main Mix, we celebrate with genre-defying genius, Brian Cid. He delivers a slow-burning, seamless journey that seeps into your skin — visceral, immersive, and made for long, luscious nights. Enjoy!
