Italian-born, London-based producer Alessio Cristiano debuts on Marginalia with the ‘Big Time’ EP — a striking two-tracker that reflects both his evolving production depth and a natural fit for the label’s emotive, forward-leaning sonic world. Lending remix support are ELIF, Marginalia’s visionary founder, and rising Berlin-based talent Predex.

The title track ‘Big Time’ is a tightly wound, late-night driver — dark, minimal, and hypnotic with just the right amount of restraint. Tension builds slowly as Alessio sculpts ghostly pads and rolling bass into a pulsing, understated heater. ‘What U Gonna Do?,’ co-produced with Baraka, leans into deeper grooves and sultry vocal loops — a moody, after-hours statement with undeniable dancefloor pull.

Taking the reins for the remix, ELIF and Predex deliver something sublime.
