Aitor Astiz makes his much-anticipated Hottrax debut with ‘Digital Soul (Freak)’, a record that has quietly built a reputation as one of his most in-demand cuts to date. After months of growing dancefloor demand, the standout single finally lands on Jamie Jones’ influential imprint on 22nd May 2026.

The Spanish producer has been steadily carving out a sharp, vocal-led sound across labels such as Metamorfosi, Hellbent Records, Deeperfect, DFTD, and Moon Harbour, picking up consistent support from key names across the circuit along the way. With a catalogue rooted in clever vocal ideas and groove-driven productions, his momentum has been building across clubs and social media alike, and he now steps onto one of tech house’s most respected platforms to close out May in style.

‘Digital Soul (Freak)’ leans straight into the hype that has surrounded it. Built around a distinctive female vocal hook, sharp drums, and a bumping bassline, it is the kind of track that has clearly been crafted and refined over time, with a proven knack for igniting big moments in the exact environments it was designed for. As Aitor explains, it is “a track I’ve been playing for a long time, and the reaction has been insane since day one”, which pushed him to hold out for the right home. Hottrax ultimately offered “the perfect fit” for one of the most important records of his career so far.

Founded by Jamie Jones, Hottrax has carved out a reputation as one of tech house’s most reliable destinations, championing bold, club-ready records from both established names and rising talents. ‘Digital Soul (Freak)’ slots neatly into that ethos and confirms why Aitor Astiz continues to be one of the genre’s most exciting voices in 2026.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Digital Soul (Freak)’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
