All things start off small, that’s something everyone knows. But in 2012 when two friends decided to hold a party for themselves and their mates, no one would have predicted that, five years down the line, they’d be putting on their own festival on London’s Three Mills Island. Not only that, but who could have guessed they’d be pulling in the likes of Hotflush Recordings honcho Scuba, as well as Pampa Recordings runner DJ Koze? Well, to be honest, the fact we couldn’t predict it doesn’t really matter, because Percolate Open Air will be landing in London on the 29th of July, for a day of all out house, disco and techno antics.
So what makes this event special? Well, first off, it will be using a space that has never been used before. It’s a beautiful place to put it lightly, a green park surrounded by the Lee Valley river on all sides, and located in London’s bustling area of Bow.

But what really sets this event apart is the lineup. Leon Vynehall b2b Ryan Elliot b2b Evan Baggs, Moxie and Sonja Moonear… and that’s not even half of the whole thing! Percolate Open Air is a festival for music lovers – period. You won’t find people booking a ticket just so they can upload a picture to Instagram to say “Hey look! I go to festivals”. And that is something we are eternally grateful for. This is one of those parties where ‘if you know, you know’ rules, with no gimmicks, and just a pure appreciation for good quality music.
To all those thinking about booking tickets: we’d highly recommend. This is something a bit different to your average London festival, so don’t be shy, and come take a dip into some new house, disco and techno territories.
