Starting in 2013, the Alfa Romero Recordings label has gone for quality over quantity with its release schedule, and spent time curating master crafted EP’s that have featured tracks and remixes from the likes of Reboot, Philip Bader, Aquarius Heaven and Davide Squillace.

The label’s new deep and melodic release features a solo remix from Cabri, along with two original tracks from Lancaster, who makes his long awaited return to the imprint following an appearance on a mixed artist EP in 2014.

Lancaster boasts an impressive back catalogue of releases that features labels including SCI+TEC, Get Physical, Saved Records and Akbal Music. Based in Spain, he has also been an important part of the Barcelona club scene, holding a prestigious residency at the Macarena Club, where Lancaster has played for more than 10 years.

We are happy to premiere “Me And My Shadow” that has timeless synths, both delicate and poignant with intricate detail. Dramatic bass notes rise to the surface of this bubbling tech house concoction as it succeeds in creating a mysterious and accomplished atmosphere.
