Atish returns to New York on Friday for the next installment of his ‘Atish All Night’ series. The Lost Circus will play host to a 6+ hour set from the dynamic DJ, who is no stranger to the NYC underground scene. As a longtime resident for the Cityfox crew, New York has played a crucial role in Atish’s storied ascent. The Manjumasi label head has been a staple on the NYC circuit, recently playing events such as the Cityfox New Years marathon, the Brooklyn Mirage closing show, and the ebb+flow boat party. New York dancefloors have always been a special place to Atish, especially now that he calls the city his home. This Friday’s all-nighter will be a celebration of the deep roots that Atish has built over the years in NYC.
Atish is known to create a special atmosphere during his open-to-close sets, playing several ‘Atish All Night’ events in San Francisco and Los Angeles over the years. “The Atish All Nights I’ve done on the West Coast stand out as some of my favorite events to play. They give me the ability to be more thoughtful about the musical flow of the evening. I can touch on different genres and moods at a much more deliberate pace without feeling rushed or pressured to fit a promoter’s sound.”
Friday’s show at The Lost Circus will be the New York debut of the party series, which is coming off the back of a sold out show in LA earlier this month. “I’d been holding off on bringing this party to New York until I found the right venue. Finally, after playing one of my best New York sets on New Years’ day at the Lost Circus, I had to come back to play a few hours more… this time opening, headlining, and closing before the room shuts down in the Spring.”
