Every now and again you hear a piece of music that stops you in your tracks, and “Stone Flower” by Namito certainly grabs your attention. Its rhythmic pulses and atmospheric synths set a mood with guitar chords and a tantalising vocal that breathe life into the track.
Atmospheric and thought provoking, the vocals reference a traditional song from Persian folk law, and it touches the soul with a delicate beauty often hard to capture in sound.
The track is forthcoming on Sol Selectas which is an American label run by Sabo who is known for having an ethos in music that takes influence from world music and the cultural diversity of different continents from around the globe.
Sol Selectas has previously featured tracks from Gab Rhome, Be Svendsen and Unders, along with many others of an equal standing. Namito is the newest member of the label’s roster of artists who all bring something different to the imprints eclectic style.
Stone Flower is the only track on the release and it’s an outstanding piece of music that we strongly recommend immersing yourself in.
