Identical twin duo Lunar Plane team up with afro house adept Daniel Rateuke to deliver six tools on Stil Vor Talent that nestle spacious effects in a colourful percussive palette with maximum dancefloor appeal. Starting off the journey with a steady groove, both ‘Sultan’ and ‘Iniko’ are engrossing, flexible rollers – the first one bouncing along a relentless bassline, while the latter leaps around a lush, grandiose drop. ‘Kismet’ stands on large, siren-like pads with ample micro-breakdowns that keep things interesting, while the energetic melody shaper ‘Luar’ is the perfect weapon to amp up the ambience, whether the night has just begun or is in full swing. On the flip side, ‘Olappa’ and ‘Mapono’ channel tribal percussion in a more stripped-back style of composition, where wind instrument chops and ethnic vocal chants take centre stage and add a warm touch.
