Austrian born Claudio Ricci is no stranger to music with his father leading a South-American folklore band in his native Chile, and his youth filled with musical experiences from various sources. Now residing in Ibiza and co-running the ever excellent Stripped Down Records, Claudio is a well knows figure on the islands music scene and further. As a producer Claudio has been outputting an amazing variety of EPs and remixes for both Stripped Down, as well as labels such as Compost and Connected.

Moodmusic Records‘ label boss Sasse met Claudio a few years and the 2 clicked immediately, personally and musically. One thing lead to another and the time was ripe to sign Claudio to Moodmusic. The result is a super strong EP with two originals and a stellar remix from none other than Timo Maas.

Deep, yet hypnotic ‘Still Waters Run Deep’ takes you on a journey with undulating synths, deep bass and the impeccable production skills from Claudio. On the remix tip, Timo Maas transforms the song into a filthy dub monster, adding some spooky vocal snippets and acidic touches to the game. Another bomb from Mr Maas.

‘Til Dawn’ is a another floor filler, arpeggiated synth work keep nailing the listener to the floor while the sinister bass controls any soundsystem. Another fine production from Claudio.
