Tamango Records head honcho Yaya revisits his impressive debut album ‘You Decide’, welcoming Loco Dice, Enzo Siragusa, Cuartero and S.A.M. to remix the package.

Originally released in late-2019, Tamango Records boss Yaya’s debut album ‘You Decide’ showcased an in-depth look into the blossoming talent’s journey to date as both a producer and also an individual, fusing his ethnic African roots and his Italian upbringing with his early musical influences and his position as one of the scene’s hottest rising names to deliver a twelve-track project full of striking productions across the house sphere. Having picked up support from some of the biggest names in the scene, and with coverage from leading outlets including both Mixmag and DJ Mag, the impressive body of work now welcomes a star-studded remix package in 2021 as Desolat boss Loco Dice, FUSE head Enzo Siragusa, ever-impressing Spaniard Cuartero and Mandar favourite S.A.M. all turn in fresh interpretations of their own LP highlights – set for release on vinyl late-February and as a digital offering in late-March.

Up first, Loco Dice’s commanding take on ‘Black Mamba’ sees the Desolat boss work snaking organic percussion arrangements amongst shuffling hats, warping electronics and hypnotic undertones, whilst Cuartero introduces a medley of groove-heavy basslines, glitched vocals and resonant electronics throughout his remix of ‘One Way’. Up next, Enzo Siragusa’s murky take on ‘Be Yourself’ sees the production given a UK flip, armed with driving low-ends, and skipping drum licks, before closing the show with S.A.M.’s lively and infectious take on the excellent ‘Ebi Awon’.

You can now listen to the full premiere of Enzo Siragusa‘s remix exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
