Modd‘s ‘Gambit’ opens up with serene synths layered over warm, rolling drums. It is an expansive and hypnotic cut for mind, body, and soul. Soul Void are next up with ‘Jamal’ which cuts loose with a peppering of percussion draped over the leggy deep house drums. Majestic chords add a sense of late night spiritualism, it’s like the summer Arab ode to joy, dedicated to the inner beauty of a person.
‘Higher’ from Dibidabo takes your heads into the clouds with its airy pads and angelic vocals up high while the rugged beats roll below. ‘Secrets Of Your Heart’ from Urmet K feat. Shawni is another thoughtful and deep house track. The organic percussion is soft and warm, the chords twinkle like stars in the night sky and sooth the soul.
Last of all, Cagdas Dumlupinar gets you in a trance with ‘Lionisa’ with its soft shakers, sustained chords and cuddly house kicks. It’s a good and deep twist on Ave Maria, making the blood freeze in the veins.
