A year after debuting on Moon Harbour with the fantastic ‘Freak’, the dream team of CamelPhat and Cari Golden return for another superb single, ‘Temperament of the Beat.’

CamelPhat is a British duo that has turned underground acclaim into global success. Their always fresh club tunes have come on Defected, Sola and Snatch! and their work with Elderbrook on ‘Cola’ led them to a Grammy nomination. Last year they served up their major label album Dark Matter and this year they collaborated with Green Velvet. They have a characterful sound that is all the more irresistible when it features the voice of contemporary house music, Cari Golden. American singer- songwriter Cari has a limitless range and for that reason, she’s in demand with everyone from DJ T to Groove Armada.

The new single ‘Temperament of the Beat’ is a heavy house track with robust drums diving forwards. Subtle synth motifs loop next to the groove and make for deft little hooks while Cari repeats the track’s title and draws you in even closer. The occasional percussive roll and optimistic chords tease a sense of hope and celebration which keep you locked as this stripped back but effective weapon keeps on building.
