German house talents Monkey Safari serve up another single from their forthcoming Body Language Vol. 24 mix later this year. This duo has long been releasing on this label and over the years Lars Rühlemann and Sven Fröhlich have become known for their always characterful sounds. They make house, but with intriguing melodies and intimate vocals that make it as suited to home listening as club dancing. They always evolve with each new EP and LP, and in 2021 impressed again with their ‘Love Will Set U Free’ long player. Now following up January’s ‘Ceremony’ single on this label they go deep once more.

The beautiful ‘Hi & Low’ sees Monkey Safari deliver their own take on a Get Physical classic from WhoMadeWho, originally released in 2016. Their stellar cover version gets you lost in thought as the delicate grooves roll gently on. The well-crafted chords sustain a dreamy mood and pads float way up high to bring a sense of scale that leaves you in awe. The tender spoken word vocals bring you in close and keep you there until you’re fully under their spell.
