Independent Dublin promoter & label Furtive has lined up a splendid eight track selection titled Furtive Sounds. Set for release on November 27th, the compilation features a fine mix of homegrown talent, providing the musical treats are Augusto’s Liquid Life, LAH, Core Minimal &, a man who has featured on here before, the enigmatic Moossmann.  We have a little teaser for you below.  Also make note! The launch party for the release will be held at one of Dublin’s standout small venues Tengu bar at Yamamori on the night of the 27th. Don’t sleep on this one!

Leading the charge is Augusto’s Liquid Life. the latest project of Wicklow man Thomas Mc’Ilwaine, previously one half of experimental act Daddy Longlegs. Mc’Ilwaine has crafted two stellar tunes ‘Circa Jets’ & ‘Secret Road to Sweden’, deep, progressive and emotive works. As for LAH, a.k.a Krister Timusk, the Carlow man presents an intricate and highly atmospheric tech cut in ‘Soul Slip’ alongside a sombre, minimal piece entitled ‘Chi’.

Dubliner moossmann does his reputation no harm with ‘Habitat’ & ‘Pleasant Dystopia’, two beautiful productions we’ve had on repeat here at HQ. Last but not least Mayo’s Core Minimal  steps up, knocking it out of the park with two organic techno tracks, the relentless ‘Inducer’ and the futuristic belter that is ‘Nameless’. All in all a quality collection from the Dublin outfit and an impressive feat putting together a local release of such high standard.
