Longevity is somewhat of a rarity in the fast paced and ever evolving music industry, but Marc Romboy’s Systematic Recordings continues to stand the test of time 20 years on from its inception. To commemorate this monster milestone, Marc has compiled an enormous selection of tracks from a multitude of artists who have inspired Romboy through the generations, artists who have previously released on the label, and other flourishing talents come together for this 25 track celebration.

Every Friday starting June 21st, a new single will be released on the Systematic label, featuring a star studded selection of artists including Carl Cox, Josh Wink, Gui Boratto, Awesome Soundwave co-founder Christopher Coe, Skatman, Rodriguez Jr., Timo Maas, Matropia and label affiliate Robert Babicz, Bawrut, Erased Tape´s Ben Lukas Boysen, and two tracks from the label head himself.

Trends come and go, tastes change, and genres develop but throughout the label’s multi decade life, Marc strived to achieve a refined output, testing the boundaries of modern dance music as it moves, maintaining a family environment to the project as a whole. In terms of sound the label has seen it all, wandering between futuristic funk electro, classy house output and driven techno the label has lived a colourful life so far, and will continue to do so. To stay relevant for such a duration is no easy feat, and of course endures the highs and the lows of running a record label, but the success of the label pays testament to the quality of the music from the artists who have featured over the years with Marc leading the way at the forefront with essential releases and curating with an innovative attitude.

Join Marc and Systematic as they embark on this huge landmark moment of the label, assuring the faithful followers that the label shows no signs of slowing down in the years to come. 2024 is a year full of Systematic joy, as you can add a tasteful selection of music to your collection week in, week out until almost the end of the year.

You can now listen to the full premiere of Johannes Albert’s ‘Die Nacht’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
