An organically pulsing bassline and breezy chords that touch the soul like the rays of the sun touch naked skin – ‘Synthetic Horizons’ is one of those perfectly smooth and rolling tunes that get you going start to finish. Beneath the seemingly simple arrangement, there’s the rare skill of a producer who looks back on decades of experience and who knows like few others the dynamics of movement and emotion on the dancefloor: Markus Homm.

The ‘Synthetic Horizons’ remix by Erdi Irmak starts with cascading drums, setting a tribal and driving flow. Just like the original, it keeps building progressively and exudes the warmth of house music. A rhythmically employed speech sample and flamboyant synth escapades create a wonderfully playful and carefree vibe.

You can now listen to the full premiere of Erdi Irmak’s ‘Synthetic Horizons’ remix, exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
