Steve Parry’s reputation precedes him. A DJ’s DJ in every sense, he has long been a trusted name among the world’s top selectors — regularly sharing lineups with John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, Hernán Cattáneo, Guy J, and other heavyweights. His deep understanding of the dancefloor, paired with impeccable technical skill and unwavering taste, makes every one of his sets a lesson in progression and groove.

A key figure in the evolution of the UK scene, Steve’s career ignited during his influential three-year residency at the iconic Cream in Liverpool, a period that solidified his status as one of the city’s foremost electronic voices. From there, he went on to headline some of the world’s most storied clubs, including Ministry of Sound and Space Ibiza, while continuing to carry the spirit of Liverpool with him — from running the legendary 3Beat Records to shaping local culture with his acclaimed Alderaan nights (1997–2001), widely credited as foundational to the city’s ongoing electronic identity.

Today, in between touring internationally, Steve helms Selador Recordings alongside Dave Seaman. What began as a passion project between longtime friends has grown into one of the most beloved and consistent labels in the progressive and melodic house space — with countless chart-topping releases and a global community of artists pushing its sound ever forward.
