Lane 8 has returned with a new track, “Little Voices”. If Lane 8 had a quintessential sound, then he’s certainly captured it on this new release. The track begins with a minimal synth melody which eventually evolves into a glorious soundscape that fully encompasses Lane 8’s subsect of melodic house. This track has been a staple in Lane 8’s set for months, and today he’s officially unveiled it via his Soundcloud page. Check out “Little Voices” below:
Lane 8 dropped “Little Voices” to celebrate the announcement of his ‘Summer Gathering’ shows in the US this summer. Lane 8 will be hosting mini-festivals of sorts in Colorado, New York City and San Francisco respectively, featuring 2 hour sets from Lane 8, followed by a set from an unannounced guest, followed by another 3 hour set from Lane 8.
The ‘Summer Gatherings’ will adhere to the ‘no phones’ policy that Lane 8 popularized during his 2016 ‘This Never Happened’ tour, which revolved around the concept of discouraging cell phone and camera usage at his show. The tour sold out almost every stop, so it was only right that Lane 8 expanded the concept into a series of mini-festivals throughout the US this summer.
