Next transmission on Upon.You – the aptly-named ‘Multi Flavour’ – comes served by Berlin-based talent Edmond W., alias ED ED. True to the no-nonsense, big-room-oriented signature sound that’s had him making waves from the Get Physical to the Ouie folds, this new single finds ED ED doing what he does best: crafting a clean-cut, delirium-inducing momentum primed for extensive floor-sweeping traction.

Making the most of a palette flush with brooding bass assaults, pressurized kicks, and heavily altered synth mechs, the Swiss producer takes us for a fiery, bumpy dive into an effervescing furnace of war-ready robotics and revamped polyrhythmic madness, all washed over by deafening menace from above. In the hands of UY co-head exec Marco Resmann, “Multi Flavour” morphs into the kind of swaggering, laser-guided club punisher that never misses its target. All in on the steely side of the groove, Resmann’s rework treats us to an implacable workout of surgically designed body music, whose only declaration of intent is to melt your face, by all means, and at all costs.
